Light Sight

Animation • Iran • 8 minutes

M.E., the imprisoned character in a room is attracted to a hanging light and tries to catch it. But the room itself becomes an obstacle on his way.

Ode to Lesvos

Documentary • Netherlands • 11 minutes

An inspiring story about a small group of fishermen and old ladies from the town of Skala Sikamineas on Lesvos, who received hundreds of thousands of refugees with open arms during summer of 2016. Because of their selfless efforts, the villagers were nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Oil Men

Drama • Canada • 7 minutes

The film shares the story of Canada’s controversial oil sands through the lens of female characters. Leanne Romanko, a young oil and gas chemist, begins to see the negative effects of tar sands extraction in her daily life as her mother is stricken ill.

REPAIRations! – The Musical

The story about the power of optimism against forces that are seemingly more powerful than yourself. Through song and dance we follow Isaac who lives during the end of slavery (1860’s), end of segregation (1960’s), and President Obama’s inauguration in 2008.

The Nest Egg

Ernie is a widower with a windfall. He wants his wife back, not the cash and comes up with an ingenious plan to find a deserving person to give it to. Tracey and her daughter, Amy, have each other but no money. Could fate and eggs bring them all together?

The Whole World

As he does every year, Julián visits his dead mother in the village cemetery. She appears to him and they make plans together as she devises them and he obeys. But this year, Julián is going to get a very special request from his mother that will surprise… the whole world.
